Når Strymon designet Ola dBucket Chorus and Vibrato pedalen, startet de med byggeklossene de har utviklet rundt dBucket teknologien. Disse ble brukt til å designe en veldig fin og allsidig modulasjonseffekt. Det er brukt den samme filosofien som ble brukt i Brigadier delayen, hvor en 'high-performance' DSP er dedikert til å skape en lush og organisk chorus.
Sonisk er Ola dBucket Chorus i samme landskap som klassiske Chorus pedaler, spesielt en viss blå boks med stor kultstatus. På toppen av det, så har pedalen true bypass, mulighet for en favourite preset, stereo inn/ut og en høykvalitets analog input og ouputseksjon
